TRICIFIX originally formed in late 1988 (under the name IMMORTAL DECAY), as a three piece death metal act. At the time, the band were all schoolkids. Three demos were recorded: “Nocturnal Darkness” (1990), was the first demo, after which, TRICIFIX got busy gigging with the likes of PRIMORDIAL, SEPTIC SNAILS, DOOMSGAME and many others. “Diurnal Decay” (1992) followed, and with the help of (Rob Clymo) Trash n’ Burn, TRICIFIX attracted the attention of fans all over the underground scene, with an enormous response of letters which continues, though diminished, to this day. “Demonic” (1993) was the third offering. However, “Demonic” was never released, and the band subsequently split.
