Official Biography…
ZYLUM… Created in summer of 2012 by founding members Philly Brett and Andre Foley to further develop our desire to invoke darkness and fear into the heart of the metal scene.
ZYLUM simply brings forward your deepest inner thoughts,regrets and fears through a mix of Black,Industrial and doom like tempos, taking influence from TRIPTYKON, MARILYN MANSON and SATYRICON. The bands first recording, “Isolated”, released in early 2013 and featured the tracks ‘Shadow’s Call’, ‘Isolated’, ‘Only Death is Real’ and ‘Rigor Mortis’, not only gave ZYLUM the ridged stance needed, but granted great opportunities to play some exceptional gigs all over Ireland.

Originally coming together around 2009 as BORDERLINE PRIME, the members of that band decided a re-start was needed and in 2012 re-emerged with a new focus as ZYLUM.
The band 2013 “Isolated” EP was also featured on the Irish Metal Archive backed split CD, “Forth To The Fight…” the same year, along side fellow Irish metal bands MAUSOLEUM, DEUS MORTUUS and ÍWERIÚ.
