TWO TALES OF WOE call it a day! Posted: 08/09/2014 by John O'Brien
TWO TALES OF WOE have announced that they have called it a day. The timing of which is cruelly unfortunate as the band had very nearly completed work on their sophomore release, which had been hit by many delays over the last few years.
Check out the message from vocalist Carl King below…
“A message from Carl ‘kingwoe’ king
Hey guys….just a bit of news from the TWO TALES OF WOE camp….I’m afraid i have to inform you that our beloved band TWO TALES OF WOE will be on an indefinite hiatus…. I say this with a sad and a heavy heart. No need to go into reasons but as there are many i will just leave it at that.
I started this band nearly 10 years ago with Lar Bowler and John Nesbitt and it has been my baby as long as my real baby Kerry.. It has brought me joy, pain, happiness, sadness, good times and bad times but most of all I got to write, perform and record with some of the coolest mofos on the planet. I will ALWAYS be thankful for every single person that has been in the ranks of the Woe…. I will never forget what you have done for myself and Lar.
Finally Kelvin, Dan, and Dave… without you guys we would have been gone a lot sooner and I love you all and thank you eternally.
To anyone who has supported the band, and myself and Lar, we thank you so so much and I am so sorry that we didn’t get to deliver the second album for you guys. Maybe somewhere down the line we can get together and finish it.
Thank you again and goodbye!
Heavy and Slow the way of the Woe
Carl,Lar,Dave,Dan,Kelvin”
