SEPREVATION : Live @ The Siege – Samhain 2014… Posted: 25/02/2015 by John O'Brien

The next Siege Of Limerick festival is almost upon us! With the legendary SOLSTICE headlining the ‘Earrach 2015′ event. So to get your festival juices flowing even further we have another live recording from the last ‘Samhain 2014′ installment of Ireland’s premier metal meeting. Last week we posted up a few tracks from OLD SEASON and a full set from ZHORA. Now it’s time for one of the visiting bands to be represented.

UK Death/Thrashers SEPREVATION were easily one of the highlights of the festival, taking most of the Siege crowd completely by surprise as they launched into their energetic old-school set. Since their formation in the Summer of 2011, SEPREVATION‘s furious old school attack has earned them a place at Bloodstock Festival 2012, tours with EXHUMED (which brought them over to Ireland back in 2013), BONDED BY BLOOD and FLAYED DISCIPLE, not to mention supporting the likes of MORBID ANGEL in Ireland and the UK, GORGUTS, WORMROT and CANNABIS CORPSE. They released their debut album “Consumed” in 2014, which has been greeted with an extremely positive reception, earning itself a perfect 5/5 review from Zero Tolerance Magazine and features in both Terrorizer and Metal Hammer.
