Ireland Underground in conjunction with Hedgehog productions are working on a pilot for a 30 minute music show featuring established and emerging Irish bands in underexposed genres (metal, rock, punk etc…).

“The plan is to pitch a music program showcasing Irish acts that at the moment are not receiving media attention or coverage at home. We feel there is a huge wealth of talent that needs to be recognised and presented at home and abroad. And that fans of Irish bands abroad should be permitted a view of their favorite musicians in their hometowns. What we are working on at the moment is a pilot, so therefore there is no guarantee of broadcast, and would involve recording bands or musicians in a rehearsal or sound check environment and also conducting an interview. Other segments will require musicians tips, album reviews and covering upcoming events, etc.” – Rachel (Irish Underground)
