NAUTILUS, one of Irelands most original bands are gearing up for their new release! The six track self-titled ‘Nautilus’ EP will be available from their bandcamp page on August 1st. This will be the bands second release and follow up to 2013’s excellent ‘Trials’ EP.  In between ‘Trials’ and the upcoming ‘Nautilus’, the band released a stand alone track,Days Turned Dust on youtube. This track, while not a complete departure from the up-tempo bluesy, death groove metal of ‘Trials’, sees the band favour a more Progressive/Doom style which gives a huge feel and added quality to their sound. So, one has to wait with patience, excitement and wonder of the prospects  of their upcoming E.P!

The ‘Nautilus’ EP will be Recorded at ‘Hi-tone studios‘, mixed & produced by the bands bassist Alan Hanlon and vocalist Cathal Hughes, mastered by Peter Montgomery at ‘Cutterhead Mastering‘.

You can catch NAUTILUS live with Galway’s Occult Doom outfit WEED PRIEST in Fibber Magee’s in Dublin on the 1st August 2014, as both bands launch their latest EP’s, with support on the night from WEEPING ULCER and SOLID GOLD ROCKET-SHIP. NAUTILUS will also be playing along side BAST on Sat 22nd of November in Fibbers supporting Doom Titans CONAN. Also playing on the night will be WILD ROCKET and a special after show from the mighty SLOMATICS.
