STATEMENT FROM ‘Bloodstock M2TM Ireland’ Organisers…
“We’re over and completely finished for 2015! We started with 36 bands and made it to 6 and never before in the Bloodstock Metal2TheMasses history has it happened, but, we’re sending TWO bands over to play in the festival this year!
Our biggest congratulations goes to Animator for being selected by Simon Hall to represent the Republic of Ireland in this years Metal2TheMasses competition on the New Blood stage. The band played a mind blowing set tonight!
Our second congratulations goes to Snowblind Ireland – they’re getting the chance to play the Jäger stage this year!
Theories Divide won the crowd vote this year (for the second time running) and will receive a photo shoot with Down The Barrel Photography and Overdrive will design a fully interactive EPK.
A huge big thank you goes out to everyone in Fibbers for helping us run this years competition especially JC, Levi and Ciara. They have stuck with us every year supporting the metal scene in Ireland.
It’s always an honor and pleasure to have Simon Hall and his wife Rachel over to the emerald isle. He has an unbelievable task of choosing a band to play in the festival and we’re eternally thankful for his support and giving us the chance to bring over two bands.
The media this year has been absolutely hands down the best we have ever had. Steve in Down The Barrel photography for working every single gig in the last two years with us and supporting the Irish Metal Scene. PlanetMosh have done great reviews and we can’t wait to see their reviews and photography from the festival itself. Another thank you goes out to Irish-Metal Archive and Shredload for sharing our results from the nights and posting online constantly about all of our gigs.
Lastly, all the bands and their supporters – they came out to the shows creating a completely indescribable and unique atmosphere from day one. Thank you so much for all your help and support with the last 30 gigs we have done!! Roll on next year where we’re going to make it even bigger & better than ever.
The whole point of the Metal2TheMasses is to bring a music scene together and support one another in our Irish Metal Family and give them a platform to make bands dreams and ambitions come true. All the bands from all the years who didn’t get through are always more than welcome to try again next year.
One more huge thank you to everyone for all of the continued support!
Over & Out
– Kev”
