BLOODSTOCK M2TM HAVE LAUNCHED APPLICATIONS FOR 2015!
They looking for the best breaking metal bands along with upping the anti on some of the biggest ever prizes up for grabs.
If you play in a band of these genres we want to here from you: Speed, Thrash, Death, Doom, Folk, Battle, Gothic, Grove, MetalCore, Industrial, Neo-Classical, Nu, Post, Power, Progressive, Sludge, Stoner, Alternative, Extreme, Symphonic, Viking and more!!
This year there will be two separate competitions for both the Republic Of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Details on how to enter for both regions can be found below…
“REPUBLIC OF IRELAND” entry details…
This year the Metal2TheMasses is doing 10 gigs with 36 bands from all over Ireland. The Metal2TheMasses will give one Irish band a chance to play the newblood stage in the Bloodstock festival this August 2015.
Overdrive will also be providing some really nice runner up prizes.
All of the gigs will be held on a Friday and Saturday with plenty of time for promotion and will be upstairs in Fibber Magees usual backline provided and photography from Down The Barrel Photography.

“NORTHERN IRELAND” entry details…
The Distortion Project, in association with Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses is very proud to announce that we will be running the official Metal 2 The Masses competition for 2015. The winner will not only get to perform on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock, but will also be in with a chance of playing Wacken (Ger) or Metaldays (Slov) in 2016 and there are talks underway with festivals around the globe. This is a great opportunity for a Northern Irish band to play the UK’s premier heavy metal festival and I welcome applications from bands nationwide, no matter what shade of metal you play. Interested parties, please read all of the below:

Finally (and this is very important!) Please make sure you are available between the 6th and 9th of August 2015, so you can actually play the festival, should you win! Once all the applications are in, I will announce details of the heats, semi-finals and final, along with details of how the judging system will work. The line-ups will be drawn at random for each heat, and running order will be decided on the day. Let’s share this all over the place, and get as many bands as possible to play these shows!
