Hailing from Dublin, IAMEND is a heavy-rock, rock, metal-esque experience with sonic influences that range from artists such as Alter Bridge, Muse, Dream Theater, Deftones, Incubus, A Perfect Circle and Opeth, to bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, Radiohead and beyond.
The culmination of various influences from all over the globe, and from many different periods in time, IAMEND is the amalgamation of years of practice, hard work, life experience, perseverence and creativity. Honesty and creativity are paramount to the sound, with enough being left over for the listener to impart their own interpretations towards the music.
IAMEND is the work of Dublin based musician / producer John Ohle. Originally a classically trained percussionist/drummer, years of musical exploration in various endeavours have also included playing the guitar, bass, piano and singing. IAMEND has been a culmination of years of hard work and practice. It is a sound for a genre for which many different interpretations are possible. IAMEND is simply a variation on one of these possibilities.
