News just in from Lace Weeper guitarist, Matt Hayward!

“Very happy to be finally announcing this – Lace Weeper will be joining former Nirvana drummer Chad Channing’s new band Before Cars on an Irish tour – These dates will be acoustic for Weeper, so we’re very happy to let you see a rare and lighter side to the band.”

The only confirmed date so far is for The Sugar Club, Dublin on the 6th July 2014.
Others listed include Cork and Galway but dates and venues are as yet unconfirmed.

Lace Weeper are currently working on their upcoming debut album in Silverline Studios with Ivan Jackman at the helm. They have already completed recording bass and drums, with former Era Vulgaris tub-thumper Chris Con filling in for the album sessions. The album’s is expected to be released this coming Autumn 2014.

And you can also catch the band in full electric-mode on the 28th June as part of the Philfest in Drumcoura Lake Resort, Leitrim.
