First up on the night was OBSTACLE. And to be honest, it didn’t look like they played that long of a set. Felt like I literally turned around to put a glass down and they were over. Way too short of a setlist to give any real judgement on. Sorry guys!

Second time seeing HOLLOW TRUTH and yet again they did not disappoint. Sounding better and more in line with each other than when I previous saw them, these guys are phenomenal live and with the crowd picking up on every note you could tell the right choice was made for these to support the headliners tonight.

It’s been years since I’ve seen MADBALL live and they certainly did not disappoint me. Sounding better than ever and more aggressive than ever, they set upon laying waste to those who were brave enough to attend tonight. With the new material blending right in amongst the older stuff it was like they’ve never been away. ‘Born Strong’ is probably the stand out track of the latest album and it had the crowd singing every word. ‘Down By Law’ followed and it sent a rabid crowd even wilder. ‘Heaven And Hell’ quickly followed and just when you couldn’t take any more… ‘My Life’ and ‘Pride’ leave you gasping for air as you urged the band on. Closing with ‘Hardcore Lives’ and proving that without doubt they are the masters of hardcore. MADBALL came! MADBALL saw! And MADBALL conquered!

HARDCORE STILL LIVES…!!!
