After 8 months of recruiting members in 2005, childhood friends BLACK TOOTH got to work writing, learning and performing starting off in Galway. They were spotted playing a friends private party by another band and quickly broke into the music scene and venues around Galway city. They have played on all the same stages as the best around Galway in venues like Sally Longs, Roisin Dubh, Monroes Live, Underground at The Cellar and Bar 903 to name but a few. BLACK TOOTH shared the bill playing support to one time Bob Marley bass player NATTY WAILER AND THE REGGAE VIBES, and also rising force of metal GAMABOMB in 2010. BLACK TOOTH was also spotted performing at TROJAN BIKER FESTIVALS regularly for big crowds of hairy, sweaty bikers which was fun to say the least. BLACK TOOTH made their debut in Dublin in 2009 playing shows in established venue in Fibber Magees on Parnell Street where the cream of Irish metal regularly grace the stage.

In 2013 the band decided a re-branding was in order and changed their name to BETWEEN THE LINES.
