Agape Mortis Black Metal / Co. Dublin

AGAPE MORTIS were an experimental black metal project from Dublin, Ireland. It consisted of two members who write and record all the music. ‘Agape’ is a greek term and, in this case, relates to biblical scriptures meaning divine, unconditional love. One that Christians believe God held for humanity. Combined with Mortis: “the love god has for humanity is dead”. Which may explain the use of religous imagery in their artwork.

Preferring “movements” rather than structured songs their sound ranges from fast, at times technical black metal, militristic beats, down tempo BM, heavy use of samples and also piano.
